Milestones Mental Health Agency provides a variety of mental health services to children and adolescents. We are locally owned and operated and have been providing services to the families of Orleans, Jefferson and surrounding parishes since 2000. Our Mental Health Rehabilitation services for children/adolescents are provided via telehealth, in clients’ homes, schools and other appropriate community locations. Rehabilitation services are provided as part of a comprehensive specialized psychiatric program available to all Medicaid-eligible children and adolescents with significant functional impairments resulting from an identified mental health disorder diagnosis.

Our goal is to promote mental health and wellness, education and advocacy, as well as to deliver quality services in an ethical manner. Milestones is licensed by Louisiana Dept. of Health and Hospitals, and CARF accredited. Milestones Annual Strategic Reports are available upon request.

Owner and Executive Director

Stacey Griffin is the Founder and Executive Director. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master's Degree from the Tulane School of Social Work in 1995 and opened Milestones in 2000. Services for children and adolescents include: Assessment, Treatment Planning, Individual Counseling, Skills Building, 24/7 Crisis Intervention Services, Medication Management, as well as ongoing collaboration with schools, pediatricians and other involved agencies/professionals.

Our clinical staff consists only of Masters level counselors and social workers, who are either fully or provisionally licensed by their boards, and have experience providing counseling. Background checks and drug testing are performed to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.
