We are very proud to introduce our team. Not only is each staff member qualified to perform his/her job, but all of our staff are passionate about our mission. Our clinical staff consists only of Masters level counselors and social workers, who are either fully or provisionally licensed by their boards, and have experience providing counseling. Background checks and drug testing are performed to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.

Stacey Griffin

Stacey Griffin, MSW, LCSW

Founder and Executive Director

A proud native of Louisiana, Stacey is the daughter of an elementary public school teacher and a retired New Orleans police officer. Her parents had a strong influence on her path towards social work. Stacey's mother was drawn to helping students with emotional/behavioral issues and was an advocate of "in-school" disciplinary programs as opposed to suspensions/expulsions. Her father's service to the community was also inspiring.


Stacey did her undergraduate work at Louisiana State University and the University of New Orleans. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology and was then awarded the Master of Social Work from Tulane University in 1995. Stacey is a licensed clinical social worker with over 22 years of experience working in a variety of settings with children and families. She opened Milestones in 2000 with the primary goal of providing high quality mental health services, support, and advocacy to the children of lower income families. She retains her commitment to diversity and social justice.

Stacey employs a variety of approaches to the mental health of children and adolescents. Her background in social analysis, clinical counseling, and crisis intervention allows a systems of treatment tailored to the individual child. Her dedication to a combined treatment method—assessment, treatment planning, counseling, skills building, and medication management (when appropriate)—affords clients a unique plan of treatment based on a single principle: children are resilient and, with authentic support, can enjoy happy, productive lives.

In her spare time, Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs, observing nature, reading, writing, watching movies, and exploring the great city of New Orleans.

Semonné Aguillard

Semonné Aguillard Pierre, NCC, PLPC

MHP - Clinician

Semonné is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC). She received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of New Orleans and a Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling from Loyola University New Orleans in 2016. Semonné completed a graduate internship at Family Service of Greater New Orleans providing mental health services to children and families.

Renee Aymami

Renee Aymami, LPC, NCC

LMHP - Clinician

Renee received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of New Orleans in 2005. She received a Master of Education degree in counseling from the University of New Orleans in 2012 and became a National Certified Counselor the same year. Renee became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2013. She is a current member in good standing with the American Counseling Association as well as Chi Sigma Iota Alpha Eta Chapter.


Renee has worked for Milestones since 2013. She sees clients in both the MHR, as well as Outpatient capacity. She has worked with all ages from 4 years to 56 years old. She enjoys the challenge of working with high-risk clients in the hopes of facilitating behavioral change. Renee’s counseling style is very warm and non-judgmental in her efforts to empathize with the individual client’s needs. She uses CBT, Solution-Focused and Reality Therapy to encourage clients to make more positive decisions in their daily lives. Renee believes it is a very collaborative effort between therapist and client and most importantly is the warm and positive relationship that forms in the process.

Renee was born and raised in the Metro area but has traveled all around the world which has helped her to broaden her horizons and perspective on people and their specific cultures. In her spare time, she is a Saint’s football fan, a loving dog mom to two spoiled pugs and continues to enjoy traveling as much as circumstances allow.

Denise Barrios

Denise Barrios

Assistant Director

Denise assisted in the development of Milestones in 2000 and has played a large role in the growth and expansion of the agency over the years. She has over 20 years of experience, some of which includes office management, supervision, human resources, payroll, financemanagement and all aspects of employee and client care.


Denise has assisted in the implementation of policies and procedures, as well as ensuring on an ongoing basis that the agency remains in compliance with all state laws, requirements of health insurance plans, as well as standards set forth by their accrediting body. Denise is committed to helping children and their families in our community, and continues to play a critical role in ensuring that Milestones reaches its organizational goals.

Drew Cavanaugh

Drew Cavanaugh, MSW, LMSW

MHP – Clinician

Drew is originally from Connecticut. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut in 2015.  Drew gained experience with a diverse population in both the elementary school setting, as well as in the community performing intensive, home-based services with adolescents.  Since graduation, Drew has since been working in the New Orleans area providing home and community-based mental health services to children and families.

Sedonia Cheatham

Sedonia Cheatham, NCC, PLPC

MHP – Clinician

Sedonia is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She studied psychology in undergraduate studies at the University of New Orleans. Sedonia also studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Holy Cross and earned a master's degree. Sedonia worked for the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office as an intern before joining Milestones, as well as provided counseling to all ages at the Thomas E. Chambers Counseling Center. She is a New Orleans native enjoys being a tourist in her hometown.

Dana DeBlonde

Dana DeBlonde, MSW, LMSW

MHP - Clinician

Dana received a Bachelor's in Social Work in 1998 from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master of Social Work in 2005 from Southern University. Dana's counseling style is warm and respectful. She believes the client is unique and focuses on the strength of the Individual. Dana encourages her clients to build self -awareness and self- confidence to help form positive relationships.


Dana uses a person- centered approach and implements the use of cognitive behavior therapy to encourage the client to form an understanding of behaviors that will allow them to make changes toward a positive self. She also uses reality therapy, solution-focused therapy, strength perspective model and family systems therapy to help the client grow as an individual.Dana has worked as a Mental Health Professional since December of 2005 at Milestones Mental Health Rehab agency. She has worked with high risk children and adolescents. She is the senior MHP, offering knowledge and encouragement to new staff.In her spare time she enjoys festivals, Saints games, the beach and spending time with her husband and their son.

Morgan Feibelman

Morgan Feibelman, MD

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Medical Director

Board certified in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Feibelman works with patients of all ages. He treats a wide variety of mental health and life problems by first doing a thorough evaluation and treatment plan. He uses multiple types of treatment, including medications and various types of psychotherapy. Commonly treated problems include mood and anxiety disorders, behavioral problems including ADHD, trauma, developmental problems and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Felice Gaddis

Felice Gaddis, PLPC

MHP - Clinician

Felice is a proud New Orleanian who earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology at Xavier University of Louisiana in 2013. Felice earned a Master of Arts in counseling with a specialization in Sport and Health Psychology in Chicago at Adler University in 2017. Felice has worked with individuals from ages 6 to 62 and their families in both school and community settings. Felice incorporates Cognitive-Behavioral, Multicultural, Existential, and Feminist theories, as well as mindfulness techniques and physical activity (when possible) to strengthen the mind-body connection.

Margaret Grimsley

Margaret Grimsley, MSW, LCSW

LMHP - Supervisor

Margaret Grimsley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Ms. Grimsley earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of New Orleans with a concentration in poetry and a Master of Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans with a Mental Health concentration. Ms. Grimsley has 23 years' experience in the field holding positions in private and public schools, Department of Child and Family Services, and private practice. Ms. Grimsley has been working with Milestones Mental Health Agency since 2012 serving in a supervisory capacity as a Licensed Mental Health Professional.

Jessica Henriquez

Office Assistant

Jessica assists with many of the administrative tasks in the office, including intake and referrals, community outreach, clerical work, medical appointments, client charts, ensuring each client’s health insurance remains active on a monthly basis, data entry for program effectiveness statistics, and more. Jessica’s pleasant voice is one of the two you will hear when calling our agency. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys going to concerts, traveling and reading.

Dawn Hills

Office Manager

Dawn has been working with Milestones since 2012. Dawn is a business professional who is responsible for a diverse set of administrative tasks from supervising office assistants, managing medical appointments, managing the intake and referral process, managing all client files, clerical work and much more. The role Dawn plays is essential for Milestones to perform well and carry out our Mission. Dawn’s friendly voice is one of the two you will hear when calling our agency.

Andrew Holmgren

Andrew Holmgren, NCC, LPC

MHP - Clinician

Andrew received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Centre College in Danville, KY in 2014 and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Louisville in 2016. Andrew views each client as having a unique perspective and life experience that they bring to counseling and uses these experiences to formulate an approach tailored to the client’s individual goals.


Andrew uses an interpersonal approach to identify strengths and areas for growth in the client’s relationships as well as ways to use these relationships to build upon the client’s existing strengths. Andrew has worked as a Mental Health Professional since September 2017 and previously worked at Our Lady of Peace Psychiatric Hospital in Louisville, KY. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys fishing, playing lacrosse, spending time with his wife and family, and exploring New Orleans.

Kristina Laukaitis

Kristina Laukaitis, LMSW

MHP - Clinician

Kristina is originally from Maryland. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from Tulane University in 2015 and received a Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University in 2017. Kristina has worked with diverse populations in a variety of settings. She has most recently worked in the field of substance abuse, providing her a background in trauma-informed counseling. She is further interested in global social work, having spent time in an international field placement in India working with children and families. Kristina believes in providing a holistic treatment approach to clients, as well as supporting clients in feeling empowered in their own healing process.

Kathyrn Leachman

Kathyrn Leachman, LPC

LMHP - Performs Assessments

Kathryn is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received a Master of Arts in counseling and guidance from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA in 2014. During her internship, she began working with children/adolescents and their families. Kathryn has experience providing assessments, treatment planning and individual counseling to children/adolescents with severe emotional disorders in a variety of settings. She moved to New Orleans after graduation to begin working at Milestones MHA.

Diana Maag

Diana S. Maag, M.Ed., LPC

LMHP - Supervisor and Clinician

Diana graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Master of Education in counseling in 2012. She then started working for Milestones in April 2013, and attained her license as a Professional Counselor in 2015 (LPC). Diana has worked with children as both a volunteer and professional for over 20 years. She considers advocating for her clients, and helping them empower themselves to advocate on their own behalf, one of the most important aspects of her job.


In addition to direct client services, Diana also supervises a team of counselors and social workers, as well as assists in the training of new staff. Diana loves the collaborative aspect of her profession, and looks forward to partnering with her clients' families and schools to provide the most effective and holistic approach to promoting her clients' progress toward emotional and behavioral well-being.

Jenna Naron

Jenna Naron, PLPC

MHP - Clinician

Jenna received a Bachelor of Science in family and child studies with a concentration in family science in 2007 and a Master of Art in counseling and guidance in 2014 from Louisiana Tech University. Jenna has a background working with adolescents with a history of trauma, the elderly, and families. She enjoys helping others work towards living the life they desire by using their strengths and passions to combat negative thoughts resulting in a change in behaviors and feelings. Jenna is a Louisiana native who moved to New Orleans in 2018. In her free time, she likes to spend time with friends and pet dogs.

Emily Provosty

Emily Provosty, MSW, LMSW

MHP - Clinician

Emily is a New Orleans native who received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on creative writing in 2015 from Louisiana State University. She then obtained a Master of Social Work in 2017 from Tulane’s School of Social Work. Emily completed a clinical internship at Belle Reve, a transitional housing facility for people living with HIV. In this setting, she learned the importance of HIV education and advocacy , as well as housing-first initiatives. She also gained experience providing individual counseling utilizing CBT and mindfulness practices,  teaching coping skills and harm reduction and leading conflict resolution groups.


Emily believes firmly in remaining nonjudgmental and unconditionally accepting towards clients in order to encourage positive self-esteem and constructive personal growth. In her free time, Emily enjoys writing poetry, riding her bike, practicing yoga, singing, and dancing.

Nichollas Rayfield

Nichollas Rayfield, PLPC

MHP - Clinician

Nichollas Rayfield is a native to New Orleans. He attended Xavier University where he earned a Bachelor of Science, with a minor in history, in 2013. Two years later, Nichollas graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Washington D.C campus) where he received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Nichollas' professional experiences include working in both office, and community-based settings. He approaches counseling from a person-centered therapy perspective in which he creates a therapeutic environment that is comfortable, non-judgmental and empathic.


Nichollas emphasizes on implementing unconditional positive regard and genuineness. His experiences include working with clients in a variety of formats, including individually, in groups, as well as families, and has worked with client of all ages and backgrounds. Counseling is his personal contribution to society; Nichollas' life goal is to be positively influential to the lives of others.

Katie Stephenson

Katie Stephenson, LPC, Art Therapist

MHP - Clinician

Katie received a Bachelor of Arts in history in 2012 from Louisiana State University, and a Master of Art Therapy in 2016 from Florida State University. Katie’s experience and passion is in using art-making with veterans, Alzheimer’s patients, and children and families, to help client’s strive towards a better quality of life through creative personal development. In her spare time, Katie enjoys painting, riding bikes with her friends, and eating pasta.

Maggie Tyson

Maggie Tyson, MSW, LMSW

MHP - Clinician

Maggie received a Master of Social Work degree from the Tulane University School of Social Work. Her clinical internship was with the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Juvenile Diversion Program, where she worked with court-involved youth and families to avoid further involvement with the justice system. She graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Art in English Literature and Gender Studies from Louisiana State University. She also worked as a paralegal downtown for two years before beginning graduate school.


Maggie is a New Orleans native who believes that a strong sense of community is essential to the wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. In her free time, Maggie plays on a women's ultimate Frisbee team, coaches, reads, and spends time with her family.

Aaron Watson

Aaron Watson, MSW, LCSW

LMHP - Supervisor

Aaron has been a supervisor at Milestones since 2002. Aaron has over two decades of experience working in various settings such as mental health settings, hospital settings, in both direct client care and supervisory/ administrative roles. He specializes in treating behavioral disorders and addictived isorders. Aaron has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), treating Post Traumatic Stress disorders and Family Therapy. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Xavier University in New Orleans. He then was awarded a Master of Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans, in addition to a Master of Business Administration from University of New Orleans. Aaron received his Board Certification from the Louisiana Board of Social Work examiners in 1999. Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and engaging in physical fitness activities, such as long-distance cycling.

Nora Winsryg-Karasik

Nora Winsryg-Karasik, MSW, LMSW

MHP - Clinician

Nora earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in 2012. She then received a Master of Social Work degree from Smith College in 2018. She completed internships at Harlem Village Academy providing individual and group mental health counseling to middle school students, and at Northside Center for Child development also in Harlem NY, where she provided outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents and their families. She practices from a relational, strengths-based, client- centric framework, utilizing a range of modalities including: psychodynamic, Cognitive and dialectical behavioral, mindfulness-based, narrative and play therapies.


She is passionate about social justice and strives to bring a culturally competent and anti-oppressive perspective to her work. She likes to bake and cook, read, thrift shop and go on long walks exploring new areas with her dog.

Khamonnee Wright

Khamonnee Wright, MSW, CSW

MHP - Clinician

Khamonnee earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2016. He then graduated two years later from the Southern University of New Orleans School of Social Work with a Master of Social Work degree. Khamonnee has experience working with children, youth and families in the area of direct service. He has gained experience from his two internships at McDonogh 42 Charter School and Lafayette Academy Charter School. His past experience also includes ABA Therapy helping children with Autism and related disorders master techniques and skills that are useful throughout their lives. Khamonnee’s counseling style is assertive yet empathetic, and he believes the client is capable of maximizing their potential.
